The sacred stone Phratat is found only in some sacred caves of northern Thailand, where it is harvested by forest monks during their retreats Thudong and later serves them to make amulets and statues.
This stone is considered a relic coming fromArahant from the distant past, there are different varieties and colors. This stone is known to grow magically, change color or produce perfumes.

These Phra Somdej amulets are offered in bespoke waterproof reliquaries, filled with sacred oil to "nourish" the stone.
