Lama Je Tsong Khapa (Lobsang Drakpa, 1357 - 1419) was a famous scholar in Tibet,
who was the founder of the school Gelugpa (the virtuous) of Tibetan Buddhism.
He is known to have had a very strong bond with Manjushri,
the Tibetan Buddha of transcendent wisdom.

The amulets of Tsong Khapa are fairly uncommon,
they serve to encourage virtue and study.
